About CRMNick

Who’s behind this?

CRMNick is written and built by Nick Fothergill. I don’t sell GoHighLevel courses, I’m not chasing affiliate commissions, and I don’t make a living reposting other people’s screenshots.

I build CRM systems for real businesses — solar installers, pest control companies, community groups, B2B lead gen operations. GoHighLevel is the platform I use every day, and this site is where I write down what I’ve learned the long way round.

Why another GHL site?

Most GoHighLevel content on the internet falls into two camps:

  • Affiliate bait — “GHL is amazing, sign up with my link”, written by people who’ve configured a trial account and nothing else.
  • Guru content — recycled agency playbooks about “scaling to 10k a month” that assume you already know the platform.

Neither camp actually helps when you’re sitting in a sub-account at 9pm thinking “how do I make the booking calendar stop double-booking?”

CRMNick is the third camp: practitioner content. When I write about a pipeline, it’s because I’ve built that pipeline for a company that depends on it. When I say an automation pattern works, it’s because it’s running in production and somebody’s wages depend on it not breaking.

What you’ll find here

  • Guides — step-by-step walkthroughs of the platform. Written for people who’ve opened GoHighLevel and thought “…now what?”
  • Blog — opinion and experience about CRM usage in general. How businesses actually get value from a CRM (and how they kid themselves that they do).
  • Business plans — complete GoHighLevel setups for specific trades and niches. Pipelines, calendars, automations, campaign plans. Copy them, change the names, ship them.

The honest bit

GoHighLevel is a registered trademark of HighLevel, LLC. CRMNick is an independent site — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to HighLevel beyond being a paying customer who spends too much time in their settings menus.

If a guide on here tells you something is awkward to configure, that’s because it is. If it tells you a feature is good, it’s because it earned it.
